The hotel is wonderful with very good and courteous staff and views of the ocean. the property is in a central location in the heart of Playa del Carmen. the best part is that it's close to the most popular clubs in the area.

the location offered was super close enough to the whole mexican-caribbean coastline, the center of 5th avenue and downtown and 5th ave.

The room and the area outside the room were nicely appointed and more than we expected.

I was very stressed with the sound the shower door made on closing. It sounded like it was cracking in two. We were upset at the proximity to the night clubs as we thought the hotel was away from these, but we able to block out the noise by using our own ear plugs.

The place is clean with helpful staff members and offers ocean views, making it a great stay for a business trip.

It was an excellent stay for that business trip, would recommend this place. The location was marvellous for walking around Quinta Avenida. And I thoroughly enjoyed that it was in a beautiful area just off the whole Mexican-Caribbean coastline, and beach and centre of shops and nightlife.

Very nice hotel, beautiful designed rooms and with amazing towel sculpting (especially for honeymooners). Also the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful.

The beach side was a bit disappointing because boats anchor there and you have to move to a different beach if you want to go in to the water.

This place is a hidden gem! I had a really nice time here. the staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived until the end of my stay. 😊

A little pricey for minimal facilities ie food service bar etc

The hotel is very close to everything you need in the neighborhood. Its close to plenty of great restuarants, bars, clubs, and street shoppings. The room is very cute and clean. The bed is a little hard and takes a couple nights to get use to but not bad at all, especially for the price you pay. We had a beach front view and were by the beach everyday. The beach is clean and beautiful, beverage services delivers your pina colada where you sun tan. It was a great vacation and the hotel and staff were very helpful.

Convenient amenities like a microwave, fridge, and coffee/tea makers in the room 🍵. I enjoyed the ocean view from my room and the central location of this place in the heart of the city.

Playa Palms was a convenient and picturesque setting right on the beach and only about 100 meters to 5th Avenue, where restaurants, shops and bars abound. The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly, efficient and made our stay great. We definitely stay there again. Thanks Louis and his team we had a fantastic time.

The Hotel is situated AT the beach. Fantastic location for beach lovers. Beach service (food and drinks) is proved by next door bar right on the beach. Close to the buzzling 5th Ave, where you can find all kind of shops, restaurants and bars

The rooms are quiet and cozy, plus they have a delicious cake waiting for you. You can also relax on the balcony in a hammock for a nice nap 😴.
